Weidong Zhang

Weidong Zhang's work experience includes holding the position of Vice President, Head of Biometrics at Sana Biotechnology, Inc. since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Jounce Therapeutics, Inc. as Vice President, Head of Biostatistics and Programming from January 2020 to December 2021, and as Senior Director, Head of Biostatistics and Programming from January 2020 to January 2021. Before that, they held roles at Pfizer as Senior Director, Biostatistics from March 2017 to January 2020 and as Director, Biostatistics from September 2013 to March 2017. Weidong Zhang also worked at Sanofi as Principal Research Investigator, Biostatistics & Bioinformatics in Oncology from September 2011 to September 2013, at The Jackson Laboratory as Head of Biostatistics from April 2003 to September 2011, and at Molecular Mining Corporation as a Biostatistician from January 2001 to March 2003.

Weidong Zhang holds a PhD in Statistical Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics also from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Weidong holds an MSc and BSc in Statistical Genetics from China Agricultural University. Weidong is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
