Onur Babacan

Onur Babacan is an experienced professional in the fields of machine learning and audio processing, currently serving as a Senior Applied ML Scientist at Sanas since April 2024. Previously, Onur held the position of Head of Machine Learning and Data Scientist at LOVO AI from August 2021 to March 2024, and worked as a Research Engineer at AITRICS from July 2020 to July 2021. Other notable roles include AI Researcher - TTS Lead at Humelo, Interim Engineering Intern at Qualcomm Research Korea, and CTO at FRETX, where Onur led R&D in audio algorithms and mobile app development. Onur's early career included positions at ETH Zürich and SVOX AG, focusing on teaching assistance and speech processing internships. Onur holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Audio Processing from ETH Zürich, and is a PhD candidate in Speech Processing at UMONS.
