Muriel McClymont has accumulated a diverse range of work experience over the years. Muriel started their career as an Independent Consultant, where they collaborated with Rubicon Consultancy to develop and deliver workshops on Contract Management and Negotiation for Transco's Senior Management.
In 2008, McClymont worked with Cupcake, providing coaching sessions for professional women undergoing major life transitions at a Spa for new mothers. Muriel also served as a Trainer and Coach for Entrepreneurs in Action, implementing business skills programs for secondary school girls.
From 2009 to 2012, McClymont worked as a Freelance Career Coach and Trainer for the National Union of Journalists, offering coaching support and conducting Career Focus Workshops for individuals facing or experiencing redundancy. Muriel also served as a Career Coach at King's College School, assisting staff members with career transitions, new management roles, and dispute resolution.
In 2010, McClymont joined PPD Learning Ltd as an Online Marketeer and Coach, managing the company's online marketing activities while providing NLP Coaching for clients. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Project Worker for FEU Training, delivering various training courses to freelance professionals in the creative industries.
Recently, McClymont became a Coach and Coach Supervisor at Lumier Coaching, where they provide supervision for coaches and works with individual clients for Career and Transition Coaching. McClymont also joined Sanctus as a Coach, aiming to promote conversations about mental health in the workplace.
Muriel McClymont's education history begins in 1983 when they attended the University of Aberdeen and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy. After this, in 1998 to 1999, they pursued further education at the University of Roehampton and earned a Certificate in Counselling. Moving forward, between 2006 and 2007, Muriel attended Noble Manhattan and completed a Diploma as a Practitioner Coach. In 2007, they furthered their education at the University of California, Santa Cruz where they obtained an NLP Practitioner Certificate. Additionally, from 2007 to 2008, they enrolled at PPD Learning for an NLP Master Practitioner program. Lastly, in 2009, Muriel briefly attended The Coaching Academy to become an Accredited DISC Assessor.
