Edward Yap

Edward Yap is a Senior Physician and Recruitment Ambassador at The Permanente Medical Group, Inc., where Edward also serves as Assistant Chief of the Department of Anesthesia and Director of the Perioperative Medicine Clinic. With a focus on anesthesia and perioperative medicine research, Edward contributes as a Physician Researcher for the Anesthesia Specialty Research Network. Additionally, Edward holds volunteer faculty positions at UCSF Medical Center and has experience as an Angel Investor with Sand Hill Angels. Former roles include Resident Delegate for the California Society of Anesthesiologists, Clinical Research Associate at Westchester Medical Center, and Research Assistant at UC Davis. Edward earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Biology from the University of California, Davis.
