Surosh Pillay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and development. Currently serving as VP of Products at Sand Technologies and Head of Product at The Room, Surosh has previously held significant roles at Elsevier, including Director of Health Data Science and Senior Product Manager across various divisions. As Co-Founder and Product Director at Dialectyx, Surosh led the creation of a market-driven cloud product suite that generated revenue shortly after launch. An academic background includes a PhD in Biometrics from the University of Hertfordshire, where Surosh also worked as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow and lecturer, focusing on data mining and advancements in speaker verification systems.
