Ang Xiao

Ang Xiao currently serves as Technical Lead for AI & Quantum Application at SandboxAQ, overseeing a team focused on developing advanced AI/ML algorithms and simulations to enhance materials discovery. With over a decade of experience at 3M, Ang contributed significantly to the AI/ML framework for the global fluorochemicals business and played pivotal roles in product development for battery materials and molecular simulation platforms. Prior experience includes leading analytical support for Li-S batteries at Sion Power. Ang holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Rhode Island, a Graduate Certificate in Data Science for the Chemical Industry from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Materials Chemistry from Beijing Technology and Business University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Zhengzhou University of Light Industry.
