Ian Barnes

Ian Barnes is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at SandboxAQ since September 2022. Prior to this, Ian worked as a Software Engineer at Cryptosense and QuintessenceLabs Pty Ltd. Ian also has experience as a Programme Leader and Lecturer in computing and IT at the University of the Highlands and Islands and Moray College. Ian has a diverse background, including roles as a Research Analyst, Counsellor/Psychotherapist, Lecturer in computer science and mathematics, and Australian Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow. Ian holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from The Australian National University, along with various other degrees in counselling and education.
