Jeremy Emken

Jeremy Emken currently serves as Principal Product Engineer at SandboxAQ, focusing on developing a novel diagnostic for the triage of Acute Coronary Syndrome since March 2025. Previously, Jeremy held the position of Staff Product Design Lead and Senior Manager at Verily Life Sciences, where responsibilities included leading systems hardware for a retinal camera and managing cross-functional teams. Earlier experience includes Principal Mechanical Engineer at Calhoun Vision, Inc., and Group Leader for Mechanical Engineering at Senseonics, where leadership in design for medical devices was a key focus. Jeremy's career began as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the California Institute of Technology, contributing to the development of a brain-machine interface. Educational credentials include a Certificate in Technology Management from California Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
