Martin Albrecht

Martin Albrecht has extensive work experience in the field of research and academia. Martin is currently a Professor at King's College London and a Principal Research Scientist at SandboxAQ, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at Royal Holloway, University of London, including Professor, Reader, Lecturer, and Postdoctoral Researcher. Martin also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at DTU Mathematics and Laboratoire d'Informatique de Paris 6. In addition, Martin has industry experience as a Co-Founder & Developer at iliketotallyloveit GmbH, where they were responsible for product development, user experience, backend development, and brand development. Martin started their career as a Student Employee at DFKI GmbH, where they worked on designing and developing real-time microkernel for walking robots, with a focus on pattern generators and reflexes.

Martin Albrecht completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Cryptography at the Royal Holloway, University of London from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued a Diplom degree in Computer Science at the University of Bremen from 2001 to 2007.
