Simon Kirke

Simon Kirke is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise architecture. Currently serving as the Global Head of Technology at Sandfire since May 2023, Kirke previously held key roles at Rio Tinto, where responsibilities included redefining the architecture team's operations and focusing on business architecture. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Chevron spanned over a decade, culminating in the position of Global IT Transformation Lead, where Kirke was instrumental in aligning IT with business priorities and adopting agile methodologies. Earlier roles at Chevron involved developing digital transformation strategies and overseeing large-scale IT operations. Additionally, experiences at Woodside Energy and Recherche Software Development solidified expertise in data management systems and software solutions within the oil and gas sector, supported by a Bachelor of Business degree from Curtin University.
