Brad Adams

Brad Adams currently serves as a Special Advisor at The Joint Staff, providing technical expertise on strategic deterrence and nuclear policy to the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Deputy Director of Strategic Stability since February 2020. Additionally, Brad has been a Principal Systems Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories since December 2011, where responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary engineering teams for high-reliability projects with substantial budgets. Prior experience includes working as a Civil Engineer at URS Corp from April 2008 to August 2010, focusing on various technical projects including hydrologic analysis and stormwater drainage design. Brad holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, earned between 2010 and 2011.
