Dante Basile

Dante Basile is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Purdue University, where research focuses on the visualization of spacecraft orbital trajectories in high-dimensional space, supported by the Lynn Fellowship. Prior experience includes a research assistant role at Sandia National Laboratories, conducting research on semiconductor manufacturing defect detection using advanced machine learning techniques, and a summer internship developing Generative AI applications at an AI, XR, and robotics R&D lab. Additional experience includes work as an undergraduate research assistant at the JHU Computational Cardiology Lab, automating image processing for MRI data, and a summer internship at HRL Laboratories, applying machine learning for visual data understanding within a robotics simulation environment. Dante Basile holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering.
