Don Shirah

Don Shirah has over 20 years of work experience in various roles in the field of software, cybersecurity, and data analysis. Don started their career as a Senior DBA at DOE NNSA / Raytheon in 2002, and then moved on to become a Data, Systems, and Cyber Security Lead at Sandia Corporation in 2003. In 2018, they joined Sandia National Laboratories as the RTES Software, Cybersecurity, Sustainment Lead. Additionally, they have also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Phoenix since 1998.

Don Shirah has a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems at the University of Maryland from 1989 to 1995. Don also completed an Associate's degree in Computer Information from the Community College of the Air Force between 1985 and 1990. Additionally, they have attended Colorado Technical University, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
