Elveta Bishop has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Elveta started their career at Sandia National Laboratories as a Retired Manager in 1976 and continued to work there until 2008. At Sandia, they also served as a Staff Augmentation/SME on Formal Advisory Panels. Following their time at Sandia, Elveta held various roles including Director of Operations at Informed Medical Communications and Back Office & Compliance Support at Abrazo Homes. Elveta also worked as a Dissertation Editor at Creighton University. In 1997, Elveta started their own company, Bishop Management Associates, where they served as the Owner & Principal Consultant until 2020. Elveta then worked as a Program Management SME at RhinoCorps Ltd. Co. before taking on the role of Principal Consultant in 2021. Currently, Elveta is employed as an Engineering Program/Project Lead in Pulsed Power Engineering and Design at Sandia National Laboratories.

Elveta Bishop has an extensive education history. Elveta completed their MBA in Business Administration from the UNM Anderson School of Management from 1977 to 1980. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in Accounting from Fort Lewis College between 1971 and 1976. Elveta also earned a High School Diploma in General Studies from Lamar High School from 1967 to 1971. Additionally, they completed their Junior High education at Springfield High School from 1963 to 1967.
