Jeff Lantz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. At Sandia National Laboratories, they served as the Electrical Environmental Sensing Device (EESD) Product Realization Team Lead and the Systems Thermal and Material Qualification Test Lead. In these roles, they led various testing efforts, resolved technical issues, and collaborated with internal and external stakeholders. Jeff also worked as the B61-12 Technical Basis Manager, where they coordinated flight test schedules and provided personal career guidance to their team. Prior to their time at Sandia National Laboratories, Jeff worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at BFGoodrich AeroSpace. In this role, they designed packaging and assembly for the International Space Station EXPRESS Pallet and played a key role in improving mechanical engineering production. Jeff Lantz received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of New Mexico in 1993. Jeff then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 1997. Jeff went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 2009.
