Jennifer Awe

Jennifer Awe is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and public relations. Currently serving as a Strategic Communications Specialist and Social Media Public Information Specialist at Sandia National Laboratories since February 2012, Jennifer has previously worked as a Writer/Editor and Assistant Editor for the employee and retiree publication at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Prior to that, Jennifer held the position of Director of Community Service at the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), where a community service workshop was created to support local nonprofits with public relations training. Additional roles include Public Relations Manager at Olsen & Associates and Public Relations Writer at the University of Nevada, Reno. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno, earned in 2004.
