Kevin Helfert

Kevin Helfert is a Senior Information Systems Architect at Sandia National Laboratories, where since March 2023, responsibilities include maintaining and deploying distributed on-premise SaaS applications such as GitLab and Jira. Prior to this role, Kevin served as a Senior Linux Administrator at Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc., focusing on on-premise solutions for engineering tools. Kevin’s previous experience includes various positions at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, ranging from head system administrator for the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence to managing infrastructure for the Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering departments. An internship at Packsize provided exposure to global IT operations. Kevin holds a Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, completing studies in 2022.
