Mando Lara

Mando Lara, MBA, SHRM-SCP has a wealth of experience in the field of human resources. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at West Telemarketing, where they provided excellent customer service and mentored new hires. In 2007, they joined T-Mobile and held various roles, including a Human Resources Partner, where they provided strategic direction, coaching, and counseling to leaders and employees. They also served as a Bilingual Social Media Specialist/Customer Care, coordinating social media strategies and supporting hiring and talent management. In 2021, Mando Lara joined Walgreens as an HR Generalist Field HR, where they collaborated with leadership to create data-driven strategies and provided support in employee relations and development. Their most recent role is as the President of HRMA of NM since 2024. Mando's experience highlights their expertise in HR strategy, employee relations, training and development, and social media management.

Mando Lara, MBA, SHRM-SCP completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management from UNM Anderson School of Management in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resources Management and Services from the same institution in 2015. In 2013, they received an Associate of Arts degree in Business from Central New Mexico Community College.
