Waylon C.

Waylon C. is an accomplished R&D Electrical Engineer specializing in energy storage and technologies at Sandia National Laboratories since February 2014. Leading the energy storage demonstration project group, Waylon provides technical assistance for various installations of battery energy storage systems. Additionally, Waylon has developed and led a Reliability Centered Maintenance program for the Infrastructure Operations Division and previously coordinated facility operations and engineering efforts to optimize project execution. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Electrical Engineer at Commercial Metals Company, where leadership extended across all business units, and conducting graduate research at Sandia National Laboratories with a focus on laser-induced plasmas. Waylon holds a Master of Science in Optical Science & Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from The University of New Mexico.
