Ulrich Keetman has an extensive work experience in the field of data management and scientific research. Ulrich currently serves as the Global Data Governance Lead at Sandoz International GmbH since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Bayer in various senior roles, including Senior Data Management Scientist in Data Science and Digital Transformation from April 2021 to December 2022 and Senior Scientist in Integrated R&D Data Management from January 2017 to March 2021. Before joining Bayer, they held positions at metanomics GmbH as a Scientist from April 2007 to December 2016, at SunGene GmbH as a Scientist from 2001 to 2007, and at the Institute of Plant Genetics & Crop Plant Research (IPK) as a Scientist from January 1996 to December 2000.
Ulrich Keetman completed their Abitur (A Levels) at the Special classes for chemistry at the University of Applied Sciences Leuna-Merseburg (THLM) from 1988 to 1990. Ulrich then pursued their undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, earning their Diplom (Master) degree from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, in 1993 and 1994, they studied Biology and Biochemistry at The University of Sheffield.
