Andrea Ferrari

Andrea Ferrari has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Andrea is currently the Global Head of Compliance and Corporate Legal at Sandoz, where they are responsible for ensuring sustainable and ethical growth of the business. Prior to joining Sandoz, Andrea held the role of Head of Global Legal Functions at the company.

Before joining Sandoz, Andrea worked at Takeda for several years, where they held various senior positions. Andrea was the Vice President and General Counsel for Europe and Canada, overseeing a team of professionals across multiple countries. Andrea also served as Associate General Counsel and Senior Director, responsible for supporting strategic transactions in different regions. Additionally, Andrea was the Corporate Counsel for International Legal Affairs and played a key role in coordinating the legal function in Latin America and South Europe.

Earlier in their career, Andrea worked as a Senior Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and was part of the Principal Investment Area Legal department at Goldman Sachs. Andrea also gained experience as an Associate at DLA Piper, advising on national and cross-border deals.

Andrea's work experience showcases their expertise in corporate and commercial law, project finance, IP, and commercial litigation. Andrea has a proven track record of leadership and managing diverse teams.

Andrea Ferrari has a Law Degree from Università degli Studi di Genova, which they obtained from 1994 to 1999. Andrea then pursued further education at the College of Law in London from 2004 to 2005, specializing in English and Internal commercial law. In 2014, Andrea attended Università degli Studi di Torino, where they earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Trade Law from 2014 to 2015. Finally, Andrea completed an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School from 2014 to 2016.
