Jacques van Wyk, ACMA has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jacques began their career as an Assistant Manager at N&M Agencies in 1995 and worked there until 1999. Jacques then took on temporary assignments in various companies from 1999 to 2001. In 2001, they served as the General Manager at African Harvest Foods for a brief period. Jacques joined Ranbaxy in 2002 and held various finance-related roles, including Financial/Management Accountant and Finance Executive - Africa, until 2009. During their time at Ranbaxy, they also served as the Management Accountant responsible for consolidating and reporting financial results for the global pharma business. From 2009 to 2016, Jacques worked at Sandoz as CFO for South and East Africa, where they successfully closed major projects, including an ERP implementation and commercial negotiations. Jacques then served as CFO for Africa from 2016 to 2019, achieving growth, increased profitability, and successful transactions. From 2019 to 2021, they held the role of CFO Africa Middle East, focusing on integration, re-engineering, growth, and exploring new planning processes using artificial intelligence predictive analytics. Currently, Jacques is serving as the Head of Finance - Divisional Initiatives at Sandoz, a position they have held since October 2021.

Jacques van Wyk, ACMA, obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Business Economics from the University of the Free State/Universiteit van die Vrystaat in 1996. In 2005 and 2006, they pursued further education at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, earning their ACMA degree in Management Accounting. In 2018, Jacques attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education program, specifically the Novartis Finance Leadership Program, focusing on Finance Leadership. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as conflict resolution, building accountability, linear regression for business statistics, unconscious bias, coaching skills for leaders and managers, and fighting gender bias at work.
