Joaquin Rodrigo Poch

Joaquin Rodrigo Poch is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director General de Sandoz para España y Portugal since July 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing commercial operations with annual sales exceeding $200 million and leading a multidisciplinary team of over 180 individuals. Previously, Joaquin held the position of Head of Retail & OTC, managing a commercial strategy for a business area generating more than €150 million in annual revenue, as well as heading the development of a new respiratory unit at Sandoz España. Joaquin's career at AstraZeneca spanned from July 2001 to July 2011, including roles as Jefe Nacional de Ventas Oncología/Urología/Hospitales and Marketing Manager for both the respiratory and gastrointestinal areas, achieving significant sales growth. Joaquin holds an MBA from IE Business School and a Bachelor in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from San Francisco State University.
