Juan Pérez Prim - I

Juan Pérez Prim has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Juan started their career as a Summer Intern at Seal Engineering, where they handled a project on riser installation for oil extraction. Juan then worked as a Trainee Engineer at COWI A/S before joining Sandoz Pharmaceuticals as an Analyst in the Business Intelligence department. At Sandoz, they consolidated different data sources and automated database updates. After that, they worked at DEM Solutions as an EDEM Engineer, where they provided consultancy services and led customer engagements. Following this, Juan worked at Synergic Partners as a Senior Big Data Business Consultant, where they were involved in the implementation of a Big Data adoption plan for a major bank. Juan then moved on to The Boston Consulting Group as a Senior Analyst, specializing in Big Data and Analytics. Juan also worked at Think Big Analytics as a Senior Delivery Lead, focusing on project delivery using open source technologies and agile methodologies. Juan later joined Nextail Labs as a Data Scientist. Currently, Juan is an Associate Professor at IE University. Juan has also attained certification as a Professional Scrum Master I by Scrum.org.

Juan Pérez Prim completed a Data Science Boot Camp in 2018 at IE University Lifelong Learning. Prior to that, they studied Civil Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2003 to 2010, specializing in Structural Engineering. In 2008-2009, they also attended Delft University of Technology as an Erasmus student in Civil Engineering. Juan also holds various additional certifications, including Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in 2017, and multiple Coursera and edX certificates related to data science and analysis from 2014 to 2016. Juan also obtained a Data Science Skills Assessment Test certification from Next Round in 2022.
