Philipp Krayenbuehl

Philipp Krayenbuehl currently serves as the Global Head of Information Security & Risk Management and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Sandoz, a position held since December 2022. Previously, Philipp held various leadership roles at Swiss Re from September 2001 to November 2022, including Chief Security Officer, where responsibilities included formulating the security vision and strategy for the organization and managing cyber and physical risk. Philipp also served as Group Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Risk Management IT, overseeing security governance, compliance, and the implementation of the Cyber Defence Programme. Prior experience includes consulting at Accenture from 1996 to 2000. Philipp holds a Master’s degree in Material Engineering from ETH Zürich, earned from 1990 to 1996.
