Wolfgang Andiel

Wolfgang Andiel is an experienced professional in public affairs and healthcare marketing, currently serving as Lead Public Affairs at Sandoz since August 1998. In this role, Wolfgang Andiel is responsible for representing Sandoz Austria in matters related to public affairs, engaging with stakeholders from authorities, politics, trade associations, and institutions. Sandoz, a global leader in generic pharmaceuticals and biosimilars, employs over 26,500 individuals and serves more than 160 countries. Wolfgang Andiel has held various leadership positions within Sandoz, including Head External Affairs, Public Affairs and Market Access, as well as Head Business Unit Hospital, BPH & Oncology Injectables, overseeing marketing and sales in critical therapy areas such as anti-infectives and oncology. Prior to Sandoz, Wolfgang Andiel worked at ratiopharm from 1992 to 1998 in roles including Head of Sales and Medical Advisor. Wolfgang Andiel earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Vienna between 1981 and 1992.
