Yolande J. Hanlan

Yolande Hanlan is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the investment and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Director and Senior Counsel at Sands Capital since August 2018, Yolande has previously held the position of Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, teaching a course on Private Equity in Emerging and Frontier Markets from September 2015 to December 2019. Prior to these roles, Yolande was an Associate in the Investment Funds Practice at White & Case LLP and worked as a Corporate Strategy Consultant at Monitor Deloitte. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) in International Relations and Security from Georgetown University, and both a Bachelor of Commerce Honours and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Queen's University.
