Ian Merlino

Ian Merlino has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ian has held positions such as Head of Business Development at Sandstone Technology, where they were responsible for managing delivery teams globally and supporting clients in the UK and US. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Client Delivery (UK) at the same company, overseeing the successful implementation of projects for Digital Banking UK & European clients. Ian also worked as a Technical Project Manager, leading technical implementations of customers' solutions using Sandstone Technology products. Before joining Sandstone, Ian was a Senior Developer at Vuture and an Application Developer at StepStone. Ian has also held roles as a Software Developer at Hallis and Bailey Teswaine, and as an IT Support Engineer at Hallis and Australia Post. Ian has a strong background in both technical and managerial positions, with a focus on delivering digital banking solutions.

Ian Merlino attended RMIT University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Software Engineering. Prior to that, they studied at TAFE - Kangan Institute from 1997 to 1998 and earned a Diploma in Computer Software Engineering. In addition, Ian Merlino is a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner, which they obtained in April 2021 from Scaled Agile, Inc.
