Margi Strandberg-Mataj

Margi Strandberg-Mataj serves as the Head of Competition Law and Reporting and Global Legal Compliance Officer for Competition Law at Sandvik since January 2022. Prior involvement includes the role of Legal Compliance Officer focused on Anti-Corruption at Scania Group from August 2020 to January 2022, and serving as International Trade Policy Manager at ICC Sweden from May 2017 to April 2020. Margi also held the position of Head Of Secretariat at UN Global Compact Sweden between May 2017 and January 2019, in addition to experience as a Legal Associate at Chris Archer/M.M. Law from August 2014 to August 2015, and as a Financial Advisor at TD from February 2006 to January 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master of Law (LL.M.) in International Commercial Arbitration from Stockholm University (2015-2016), a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Saskatchewan (2011-2014), and a Special Honours BA in Business Economics from York University (2005-2011).
