Michiel Bierman

Michiel Bierman is an accomplished Warehouse Operations Manager with extensive experience in logistics and operations management. Currently at Sandvik since August 2014, Michiel oversees warehouse operations for the Europe and Middle East regions in the Parts & Services product area, particularly managing the key global spare parts warehouse in Eindhoven. Prior to Sandvik, Michiel served at TNT Express from October 2007 to August 2014 in various roles including Process Engineer & Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed strategic logistics projects and coaching Lean Six Sigma Green Belts, and as Manager of the Global Transit Hub at Schiphol Airport. Earlier experience at TNT Post involved operational control and supervisory roles, with notable achievements in ISO certification. Michiel holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
