Percy Barnevik

Percy Barnevik is the Honorary Chairman at Sandvik. Percy was previously the Chairman of the Board at AstraZeneca from January 1999 to December 2004, and the Chairman of the Board at Investor AB from January 1997 to December 2002. Percy has also been a Board Member at General Motors from January 1996 to December 2009, and at DuPont from January 1991 to December 1998. Furthermore, they were the Chairman of the Board at ABB from March 1996 to December 2001, and the President and CEO at ABB Switzerland Ltd. from January 1988 to December 1996. Prior to that, they were the President and CEO at Asea Brown Boveri (Pvt.) Ltd. from January 1980 to December 1987.

Percy Barnevik studied at Stanford University for one year before completing their Masters in Business Administration at the School of Economics in Gothenburg, Sweden.
