Teemu Majander

Teemu Majander is an experienced Chief Product Engineer at Sandvik, where responsibilities include overseeing current product engineering for tunneling jumbo rigs and managing a team of 3-5 engineers since June 2010. Previous roles at Sandvik include Senior Design Engineer and Design Engineer, focusing on components such as feeds, rod retainers, hydraulic cylinders, and utility booms. Additionally, Teemu undertook a Master's Thesis titled "Product structure for future mining drill rigs," aimed at analyzing existing product structures and proposing alternatives for future mining drill rigs. Teemu holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, completed in 2011.
