Katie Whetton

Katie Whetton is an experienced professional currently serving as the Schools Liaison & Events Officer at Sandwell College since October 2013. In this role, Katie effectively promotes the College and its course offerings to prospective students and parents through various communication strategies, including events and presentations. Prior to this position, Katie worked as a Business Development Advisor, focusing on driving new business opportunities and maximizing recruitment for Apprenticeships and commercial training by engaging with employers to understand their training needs. Katie's earlier experience includes serving as a Sales Negotiator at Walton & Hipkiss Estate Agents from July 2010 to October 2013, where responsibilities included negotiating sales and qualifying purchasers financially. Education was completed at Haybridge High School in Hagley.
