Andrey Bobkov

Andrey Bobkov serves as the Director of the Protein Production and Analysis Facility at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, a position held since September 2001. In this role, Andrey oversees the operation of the facility, which specializes in custom recombinant protein production using various expression systems and conducts biophysical analyses of protein samples. Prior to this, Andrey worked at UCLA from 1994 to 2001 as both an Assistant Research Biochemist and a Postdoctoral Fellow. Andrey holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from the Bach Institute of Biochemistry, Russian Academy of Science, Moscow, Russia, and a Master of Science (MS) in Biochemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
