Brooke M. Emerling

Brooke M. Emerling is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in cancer biology. Currently serving as Program Director and Associate Professor at Sanford Burnham Prebys since August 2016, Brooke M. Emerling also holds the position of Program Director for the Cancer Metabolism and Microenvironment Program at the NCI-Designated Cancer Center at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute starting July 2024. Previously, Brooke M. Emerling was Co-Director of the Cancer Metabolism & Microenvironment Program at Sanford Burnham Prebys Cancer Center from June 2023 to July 2024 and an Instructor of Cancer Biology in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College from July 2013 to July 2016. Brooke M. Emerling completed a Ph.D. at Northwestern University from 2002 to 2007 and engaged in postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School from July 2007 to July 2013.
