Kyle Alvarez

Kyle Alvarez currently serves as a LEAP Post-baccalaureate Trainee at Sanford Burnham Prebys, following a role as a Machine Learning Programmer at La Jolla Labs Inc., where Kyle developed machine learning features for RNA-binding protein splicing models and improved the HTS.bio platform. Previous experience includes a Bioinformatics Research Assistant position at UC San Diego Health - Moores Cancer Center, focusing on cancer data analysis, and various roles at UC San Diego, including EOC COVID Coordinator and Laboratory Assistant. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from UC San Diego, obtained in June 2023.
