Sanju Sinha

Sanju Sinha is an Assistant Professor at Sanford Burnham Prebys since June 2023, following a tenure at the National Cancer Institute where Sanju served as a Senior Research Fellow and held roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Ph.D. Candidate from January 2018 to June 2023. Sanju completed a Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, and Genomics at the University of Maryland from July 2016 to July 2021 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, from 2012 to 2016. Prior research experience includes guest researcher positions at the Max Delbrück Center and a research internship at Monash University, focusing on RNA secondary structure prediction and promoter's directionality, respectively, as well as a summer research internship at the National Chemical Laboratory.
