Susan Gammon

Susan Gammon, PhD, serves as the Director of Communications at Sanford Burnham Prebys since April 2013, where responsibilities include creating impactful content that highlights the Institute's scientific achievements and collaborations. With prior roles as Associate Director of Communications and Science Writer, Gammon leveraged extensive experience in the life sciences sector, including founding a consulting business for diagnostic and genomics companies and holding key positions at Sequenom, SeraCare, and Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. Academic credentials include a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from UCLA and an MBA in International Marketing from Bayes Business School, City, University of London.
