Gregory Pence

Gregory Pence has extensive experience in the insurance industry, particularly in actuarial and financial roles. Gregory has worked for various companies, including Sanford Health Plan, LeanAnalytics.com, LLC, Beacon Health Options, AArete, Minuteman Health, Inc., Aetna, Lovelace Health Plan, Axene Health Partners, LLC, MHN, and Health Net.

At Sanford Health Plan, they held the position of Director of Actuarial Services starting in 2022. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2022, they worked as a Consulting Actuary at LeanAnalytics.com, LLC, where they delivered financial solutions and implemented market relative benchmarking strategies.

From 2018 to 2022, Pence was the VP of Underwriting and Pricing at Beacon Health Options. Before that, they served as a Subject Matter Expert at AArete from 2014 to 2018, focusing on population health management strategies and risk adjustment optimization.

Gregory Pence attended Troy High School in Fullerton from 1972 to 1976. After graduating from high school, they went on to study Mathematics at California State University, Fullerton, from 1976 to 1981, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.
