Mike Dishman

Mike Dishman is a Senior Director of Learning & Development at Sanford Health, a position held since November 2019. Prior to this role, Mike was the Regional Vice President at POET, overseeing operations for seven biofuel production facilities with significant P&L responsibilities. Notably, Mike led efforts that resulted in the production of over 577 million gallons of biofuel during a challenging market period. Mike also served as Services Leader for GE in the Midwest, managing operations for a large fleet of wind turbines, and achieved success as Dispatch Center Manager at GE Power & Water, developing innovative operational solutions. Mike's career began with the US Navy, where Mike advanced to the role of Submarine Senior Chief Petty Officer, specializing in risk management in high-pressure environments. Mike holds a Master of Science in Operations Management and Supervision from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University.
