Frederick Tan is a Group Leader at Sanford Laboratories for Innovative Medicines since May 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from UC San Diego, where Frederick served as both Assistant Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow from October 2014 to May 2023. Frederick holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from Caltech and a Bachelor's degree in Biology (Course 7) and Chemical Engineering (Course 10) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
