Sanford School
Jamy Haughey is the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and an Upper School Physics and Mathematics Teacher at Sanford School since September 2013, where responsibilities include teaching Advanced Placement Physics C, Honors Physics, and Algebra II, as well as developing and implementing the curriculum for the newly introduced Honors Multivariable Calculus course. Previously, Jamy Haughey taught upper school physics, including Advanced Placement and Honors levels, at Ursuline Academy from October 2012 to June 2013. Additionally, Jamy Haughey served as an instructor at the University of Delaware from July 2010 to July 2012, teaching Introductory Physics I and conducting graduate research on photon pair generation. Jamy Haughey holds a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Delaware and a dual degree in Applied Physics and Mathematics from Stockton University.

Sanford School
Sanford School is a private school for co-ed students in PreK through high school, located on a 100-acre campus in Hockessin, Delaware. Originally known as "Sunny Hills School", it was founded on September 23, 1930, by Sanford and Ellen Sawin, in memory of their eldest son Sanford Sawin, Jr. The school's name was changed to Sanford in 1966, 50 years after his death.
