Hemant Ambekar

Hemant Ambekar has extensive work experience in the textile industry. HEMANT served as the President of Operations at Sangam India Ltd, Bhilwara from August 2020 onwards. Prior to this, they held the position of Whole Time Director at Hind Syntex Limited (Wearit Group) starting from May 2013. With over 24 years of experience, their previous roles included working with Arihant Spg Mills, Malerkotla (Vardhman Group), STI India Ltd, Indore, Indocount Industries Ltd., Kolhapur, and Indorama, Sri Lanka (Indonesia Group). Hemant Ambekar joined Wearit Global Limited in October 2016 as the Group Business Head and Chief Technical Officer, and also served as the Business Head for the same company from May 2013.

Hemant Ambekar completed their education in the field of Textile Sciences and Engineering. From 1987 to 1991, they attended the Government Central Textile Institute in Kanpur, where they earned an Engineer's Degree. Additionally, during the same period, they also pursued a B.Text in Textile Technology at GCTI in Kanpur.
