Martin Braunschweig

Martin Braunschweig has extensive work experience in the field of industrial engineering and project management. Martin served as the Head of Competence Center Plastics and Water Management at SANHUA AWECO Appliance Systems since January 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Corporate Industrial Engineering - Division Plastics / Automotive at the same company from January 2014 to January 2020. In this role, they were responsible for global project management for "Water Management" and "Automotive" projects and was involved in setting up and establishing manufacturing facilities in Poland, Turkey, and China. Before joining SANHUA AWECO Appliance Systems, Martin was the Werkleiter at SANHUA AWECO Appliance Systems GmbH's Amtzell location from January 2010 to December 2013, overseeing production of products for dishwasher "Water Management" and managing a team of 100 employees. Prior to that, they worked at AWECO Appliance Systems GmbH from January 2000 to December 2009, where they were the Leiter Industrial Engineering / Projektmanagement. During their time there, they were involved in expanding production facilities in Slovakia, Shanghai, and Poland, managing industrialization projects, and planning procurement of equipment and tools. Martin's career began at REHAU in July 1994, where they held various positions including Productionsleiter/Werkleiter at the Feuchtwangen plant with 500 employees.

Martin Braunschweig completed their Abitur at Martin Heidegger Gymnasium Messkirch from 1979 to 1988. Martin specialized in mathematics and chemistry during this period. From 1989 to 1994, they attended Aalen University where they obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.Ing.) degree in Polymer-/Kunststofftechnik.
