Jun Zhu

Jun Zhu is a seasoned corrosion and metallurgy engineer with extensive experience in corrosion testing, analysis, and research. Currently employed at Sanhua International USA since July 2018, Jun Zhu specializes in conducting metallurgical and corrosion tests while performing failure analysis and root cause investigations. Prior to this role, Jun Zhu was a corrosion engineer at Siva Corrosion Services, INC., where laboratory testing and adherence to industry standards were major responsibilities. Jun Zhu’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, with a focus on corrosion and electrochemistry, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry and Corrosion Engineering, respectively, from East China University of Science and Technology. Jun Zhu also has foundational experience as a corrosion engineer at Shanghai Petrochemical Co. Ltd., involving monitoring and on-site maintenance of corrosion systems.
