Alba Guijarro Belmar

Alba Guijarro Belmar is currently the Head of Vector Development at Sania Therapeutics. Prior to this role, Alba worked as a Senior Scientist at the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour, where Alba focused on developing viral constructs for spinal neurons. Alba also has experience as a CK Senior Scientist at Eli Lilly and Company, and as a PhD student at the University of Aberdeen, where Alba studied spinal cord repair. With a background in neuroscience, Alba has also conducted research internships at Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe and INCLIVA Valencia Hospital Research Foundation.
