Andres Molano

Andres Molano has a diverse background in the medical field, with experience in various roles and settings. Andres began their career as a Medical Doctor in Clinca Jose Muñoz and Centro Medico Paraiso, where they independently evaluated and treated patients in the Emergency Room. Andres then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Kaplan, where they trained and coached student physicians. Andres later joined Universidad de Puerto Rico as a Resident Physician, where they gained experience in different clinical settings and performed various procedures. Andres also worked as a Medical Doctor at TC Surgical, providing patient care in a private hospital setting. Andres further expanded their experience as a Medical Doctor with Indian Health Service, where they independently evaluated and treated patients in the Emergency Room. Andres also worked as a Medical Doctor at REVA, Inc. (Air Ambulance), responsible for providing medical care to patients during air transport. In their most recent roles at Sanitas Medical Center, Andres served as the Regional Medical Director for Broward and Palm Beach, overseeing multiple primary care medical centers and collaborating with the population health management team. Andres currently holds the position of Telemedicine Regional Medical Director for Florida, leading clinical operations for Sanitas Virtual Medical Center and integrating other healthcare services into their digital platform. Throughout their career, Andres has consistently demonstrated leadership, clinical expertise, and a focus on improving patient access and care.

Andres Molano has a comprehensive education history. In 2014, they attended the Universidad de Puerto Rico and completed a two-year preliminary program in General Surgery, specifically in the field of General Surgery Residency. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they studied General Surgery at the Universidad del Zulia.

Before specializing in General Surgery, Andres Molano earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the Universidad del Zulia, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at Liceo Los Robles between 1996 and 2000.

Besides their formal education, Andres Molano has obtained several certifications. Andres obtained their Telehealth Strategy, Implementation and Optimization certification from Stanford Health Care in November 2021. In January 2019, they acquired a Florida Medical License approved by the Florida Board of Medicine. Furthermore, they have certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) from various reputable institutions such as the American Heart Association and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians.

Additionally, Andres Molano holds a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License and a Puerto Rico Medical License issued by the Junta De Disciplina Medica De Puerto Rico, both obtained in September 2016. In June 2016, they earned an ATLS certification from the American College of Surgeons. Finally, in March 2012, they achieved the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates certification from ECFMG.
