Rachel Potvin

Rachel Potvin is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and management. Currently serving as SVP of Engineering at Sanity.io since February 2023, Rachel is responsible for leading and developing the Engineering team. Previously, Rachel held the position of VP of Engineering at GitHub from October 2019 to February 2023, overseeing a team of over 500 developers and managing critical products such as Codespaces and GitHub Advanced Security. Rachel's background also includes significant roles at Google, where leadership spanned Google Cloud Insights and Developer Infrastructure, along with experience as a Management Consultant at Deloitte and early technical leadership at Ubisoft Entertainment. Rachel holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and has a degree from McGill University.
