Jens Erik Raasted

High School Music Teacher at Sankt Annæ Gymnasium

Jens Erik Raasted is a highly experienced music educator and performer, currently serving as a high school music teacher at Sankt Annæ Gymnasium since 1994, renowned for its distinguished music program and its famous Royal Chapel boys choir. As a big band leader, Raasted directs the Sankt Annæ Bigband, where thematic arrangements are created annually. Additionally, Raasted co-leads the Raasted Lund Quartet, performing original compositions in various formats, and leads the Cubra Quartet, which specializes in modern Brazilian classics. Previous teaching roles include a position at Ingrid Jespersens Gymnasieskole and as a flute teacher at Køge Musikskole. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Musicology, a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology, and a Master's degree in Flute from recognized institutions.
