Marlon Duminy

Marlon Duminy has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, currently serving as the IT Infrastructure Competency Lead at Sanlam Investments since February 2010. In this role, Marlon oversees the IT Infrastructure Team and has transitioned from technical responsibilities to encompass Infrastructure Architecture, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Technical Risk Management, Internal Audit, Budgeting, and Information Security. Previous positions include Senior Server Engineer at Sanlam Investments and Event IT, where Marlon managed server and network infrastructure and led IT projects. Additionally, Marlon has worked as a Technical Consultant and Internal Systems Engineer, gaining a comprehensive skill set from early roles as a Network Administrator and IT Coordinator. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, a B.Com (Hons) in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town, and various diplomas and certifications in IT and business management.
